Find 50’ or so of area that you can drive slow with zero (0) brake application, again zero. Then slide under and and check disc temperature. Easy way to see if a brake is the problem.

It’s little know fact that if you hook your glow plugs up backwards it sucks the heat right out of the Cylinder’s and then you dont have to have a radiator.

Should only be getting 12 volts to Glow plugs. Not 24

Pressure wash, except in the hottest summer weather add about 10% gas to the fuel. A little gas holds microbe grow at bay real good.

Should have added, do not run the alt with out batts hooked up.

Should not spin the alt. At speed (run it) real bad for alt diodes.

The drive wasn’t the problem, it was the 102 degrees and the three flats we had on the flat bed. The wood brothers would have been proud of us by the third one. E would grab the jack and ramp, I would back the trailer up the ramp, then E would break the lugs loose and start jacking the axle...

What warhorse said, that’s what we do also, those batteries ( if there original) have a LOT of reserve.
