Quick update, spoke with someone who has dealt with these headliners a lot. He says if you take the roof off, flip it upside down and douse in gasoline…. The headliner will dissolve right away. Won’t be able to try this for a while but wanted to document the idea here for others.

Anyone have good suggestions on how to remove rotted headliner? I used a paint scraper to take the chunky layer off… all that remains is the sticky layer and it’s impossible to get off. Open to hearing others successes and failures!

I turned the steering wheel close to 200 times both lifted and then on the ground. If there is still air in the system it’s probably a leak like you said. Was your leak a damaged line? Loose fitting?

When I got my new (to me) M1165, I was able to get the non-runner…. Running… by adding batteries and a start box. Pleasant surprise. The not so pleasant surprise was the steering. There were some pretty awful high pitch noises and felt like the PS was completely dead. After bleeding the system...

Merry Christmas y’all! I just got a chance to look at my m1165 for the first time yesterday and noticed the half demil fire suppression system. Does anyone have good resources for the system? Google has not been very fruitful. Thanks!

Does anyone know of the windshield retainer part numbers for the 11xx series? MME has a kit: SKU:MME-8843-8852 but I dont know if it will fit an 1165.
