    Soft top rail position issue.

Is this a SECO rail and a govplanet m1123? I had the same shit. Ended up buying raw rails on eBay and doing it myself.

Best way to remove rust from 24 bolts wheel?

Is it best practice to paint the bolts after replacing? I just put all new hardware and now I’m worried it’ll rust

What to proactively replace from yermo auction truck that has been sitting?

I have the same truck. 1123, Yermo desert 2009 IROAN rebuild. Essentially everything rubber is shot. I just replaced my fuel filter (and all rubber fuel lines). I also recently did the tires. All that’s left for me (as of now) is the coolant lines. Getting a small leak so I have all the hoses on...

    hmmwv demil code changed

Cool but interested to see the long term impacts on trucks and parts price and availability. Was hoping prices would appreciate but now truck supply may increase.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

New fuel filter. Ended up replacing every hose connected to the separator. You wouldn’t believe what 10+ years in Yermo weather would do to rubber.

6220-01-269-7067 Wire leads are too short so make them longer before you take your whole dash apart.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Everything works as normal. Glow plugs are now my responsibility instead of a dumb box. Great solution.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I knew it wasn’t. I bought it because it was the only one on eBay and I knew it’ll work. My old one had the words painted over anyways. Sideways or no words at all. This will work for now. The wait light was much MUCH more difficult to get out.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Added some new dash indicators because the marines painted over the old ones and it looked like crap. And yes the sideways indicator is STILL better than what it was before.

    Glow Plugs

If the wait light is acting appropriate and you’re getting ~24v for 5-8 seconds and then it stops you should be g2g.

    Glow Plugs

DO NOT TURN YOUR TRUCK TO RUN WITH NEW GLOW PLUGS BEFORE YOU KNOW YOUR BOX IS GOOD. Check a glow plug lead and make sure you’re not getting a constant 24v. I have a 1123 that came from Yermo with the same situation. I replaced the plugs and then burned them right out again. If you have a bad...
