plowing snow in any dump truck isnt a pleasure unless you have 40k to buy a real nice rig, but I think I can handle a few hours in a m817 .

has anyone mounted a plow on thier m817? i would think they would do excellent, and international truck plow frames are easy to come by around me...anyone else with same idea?

you can get historic plates in maryland for a m925/923 and a m816/m817.

no I meant the 123/125 wheels. its a shame that the tires are so scarce, i know where a water truck is for cheap.

+1 the benefit of a 8.3 cummins or dt466 is they are everywhere, you can buy a complete truck/school bus for 2-5k , transplant the motor/ and tranny if you like, then part out the rest of the truck and scrap the leftovers. all the 8.3's are good mechanical "p" pump motors , and the desireable...

will it hurt to add a turbo, and leave the timing advanced? can you safely add more fuel to a non turbo without high egt's?

no. the cummins nhc 250 is a 14 litre 855 cube motor, the 8.3 is a 505 cube motor

has anyone added oversize tires on their a3? I was thinking of picking one up until I found out they only like 45 or so cruising. I had an idea of running 395's and recentered hemtt wheels , and ditching the ctis system completely. anyone done this , if so post a pic , I cant find images anywhere
