The other day I was able to go over the truck pretty good there's alot things but nothing that can't be dealt with. Trucks rolls just fine. There's pressure in the brakes but this truck has been sitting for awhile so I'll have to flush the brake fluid and bleed the system. Not sure on air system...
So I've read the turbo post but don't really have a clear idea on the deal with having a turbo or not. I pretty much got out of it all it won't smoke having one. My truck doesn't have a turbo and has the side exhaust. I can add the turbo on it cause I could get one off a dead turbo engine. So...
I'm happy with my find. I know there's appt of work to do but it's a great base. No major rust most of the body is there. What's not shown is in the bed. The cab is going to need work. Both seats are shot but that's expected.
The paperclips are a huge plus. And it must of been a gun truck cause...
So I've been looking to get this M36 for a while now and finally pulled the trigger. Most of the truck is in good shape for the most part. Some of the parts are in the bed of the truck. A few things missing on it and it needs a couple a new tires. The engine needs some work. It hasnt ran in...
Yes F head. I was talking to some about them and well I mixed them up. The biggest question right now is with the tear down, do you have to have the special tool to get the valves out or is there another way

I'm starting to rebuild a L head engine to put back in my M38a1. I'm looking for tips for repainting the engine. So far this engine seems to be in good shape, just have to get the valves out and cam then I can get to cleaning.
That's one I need. Haha. It has the front driveshaft and the one from the 2nd axle to the 3rd axle but missing the transfer case to 2nd axle. And that seems to be to pain to find.

So no one seems to have a m36 driveshaft. One of them told me the m35 driveshaft would work. But that doesn't seem right cause I though the rear axles were further back then the m35s axles

So I recently picked up a m100 that I'm going to put behind my m38a1. It's been sandblasted and primed already it's just been sitting for awhile so I have to clean it up and reprime it. But they lost the fender bolts and there is no lights or cable.
So what type of bolts should I be using for...
So I'm looking at this M36 Deuce and it has a missing drive shaft and carrier bearing and I was wondering how hard are those parts to find. Otherwise the truck is pretty good shape. Motor needs to rebuilt and cab needs some work but with look over that is what really stands out.
