Where do you guys find od green and tan paint? I looked in wally world, tractor supply, lowes, and a bunch of other stores around here,,,but no luck. I am semi colorblind, which does not help, but it makes my wife laugh at my cloths sometimes,,,,,
I disconnect my battery cable when the 003 is just sitting around. I notice tiny sparks when connecting or disconnecting. The switch is set to "off". Is this normal? Would batteries go dead if i leave them hooked up? What would be pulling juice?
Gettin colder. I bought glow plugs and started to take old ones out. It sucks so far. Should i get the generator hot first before taking them out? Should i use never seize when i put new pnes in?
know what thread they are? I need to run a tap in the hole of the one i got out.
I installed jims digital gage. It is working great so it was the transducer i think.
My kill a watts is about .5 different then the gage. I suppose i will put the original gage on my 002a to verify it is still good when i get time,,,,
thanks for the help guys.
i am 1 hour into my first dry...
I was gonna just use a bolt. Is that acceptable, or is there some kind of " lug" i should use?
chainbreaker, did you run a wire between the two lugs? I thought I read someone did that, but can't find the thread again to see why.
Great,,yes, i just wanted to hook the green wire shorter instead of going to the skid. I want to wire a permanant recepticle to it so i can just plug it in, using an RV extension cord, to my transfer switch. It would help hide all wires if the ground was contained in the load box. I unbonded...
I have been checking my system with this thread. I am unbonding my mep. I have noticed that every single box in my system has a green bonding screw in it. After the meter there are 3 different breaker/disconnects going to 2 barns and house. All of them have the bonding screw in them. Take them out?
Ok, i will set at 61.5 no load and see what happens. I am preparing to make trial runs with an 002 and an 003 to see which i need to handle my house. I hope the 002 does it since it will use less fuel. My 50 amp extension cord should be here next week,,,then the test is on!
Ok, i know we are supposed to run 60 hz,,,but what is the tolerance? How picky am i supposed to be while using it? 58-62? 59-61? 59.5-60.5?
Now on the voltage, i hear circuits are 110, 115, and 120 volts. Over the years it seems to change and i still hear different numbers from people. Where...
I got the muffler welded up, solenoid installed, so got to start it and play some more.
I couldnt plug the kill a watt directly into the 120 outlets because the lids get in the way. I put a 50 ft extension cord in it and pluged the kill a watt into it. Will the cord throw the hz reading off...
