Vince Welcome again.
Now that I see your other vehicle we seem to be in the same place at the same time with some regularity. I spotted the K outside of my gym a few weeks ago and have noticed your truck there since then.
You chose wisely. [thumbzup]

If you look under the Pinzgauer section, the thread on "what to check on a pinz" sort of became my "how to roll a pinz down the interstate" thread.
In short, I had cleaned all the mud and sand out of the brake drums after the first annual Florida MV Round up. (pics under the events...
I took it down to Devilman yesterday and we debated it until the sun went down.
I am starting to think about a 712, and whether or not it would be worthwhile to start looking at them.
I started today with the sawzall and took the rollbar off. I will likely get a new windshield...
Hello all,
Thanks for all the thoughts I really appreciate it.
SS, all told, I spent three hours looking for that wheel; as best I can tell it was needed on some celestial battlefield and was commanderred!
As for the Worm it runs fine and it saved my life.
Not many vehicles, let alone a...
Mike,
Thanks for posting my pics. I know some of the Pinz guys will be grabbing them.
The Florida Rally was as great a success as your truck has been. As you well know I needed a break, and this was just what the Doctor ordered. Have to agree with Kenny about a dog wash station though...
Looks like there are more foreign MV's in working order than US. The below is copied from the Real 4X4's website where I posted the invite from Mike.
"Looks like we have two 710Ks, one Mog and possibly a 712 if it comes in time We're all driving from Tampa/St. Pete. All of us have trailers...
Well the worm has at least three cylinders working and all four wheels turn so I'll be there. Officially took Thursdy and Friday off for the drive down. Buck up liitle camper There'll be green steel in the front yard!!
Posted your invite on the REal 4X4's pinz site nd at least one guy with a 710K said he would be there. He in turn has extended the offer to some of his friends. May have a Mog there and a few pinz's if they can make it.

My Pinz was named "The Worm" by a female co-worker and it stuck.
It makes talking about getting stuck that much more fun. Wet and sticky, or dry and rocky still get the same looks from the unitiated. God forbid it gets bogged down so much that some one has to help me pull the worm out!! :P...
After spending a fair amount of time on the other Pinz BBS's I have to say i really like the tone here much better. I am glad some other Pinz pilots like it too.
