    just a crazy idea but has enyone ever run a hydralic winch off the power sterring system on a five ton? I was thinking about installing t fitings inline with the pressure feed and return lines to a valve then from the valve to the winch can it be done?

    dot 5 will compress more than 3 i have been told it is not a good idea to mix 3 and 5 if they are both 5 i would say go for it wont hurt to flush out the yellow 5 there is no telling how long it has been in there :-D

    the 5ton tractor should work fine for u i have a m54 cargo and i pull a 9 ton jd crawler on a trailer behind that my truck was rebuilt at lead in 85 as far as the brakes they may just need fluid put in the master cylinder and a good flush to get the air out

    gimpy i like your idea about the sprinkler turn on the hose open a beer and watch the mud run off as for a tractor a 100 hp john deere dont work if u sink a 5 ton i had to use the D8 cat

    fire wrench will take the temper out of the frame right i would drill her home man with lots of oil to cool the bit and slow speed on the drill with a good sharp drill u should get one long coil out of the bit not chips of metal with cutting oil used
