I have that line hooked up same way between rad and thermostat.Did another 20 mile trip highway.temp didnt go past 160 or so.came back opened petcocks ,no bubbles just fluid coming out.

Okay Sir. Circled 10 mile trip. , Engine Temp didnt go past 150-160F .Does it need to raise up to 180-200 to open thermostat which will release trapped air ? Idled for awhile ,temp stayed 150 and didnt budge either. Im still short of 4.5 g of water.but cant understand where it should go. :whistle:

but they will charge me 200 bucks to change it ,isnt it the same ?and those guys always busy,tried to book 2 shops for complete investigation on this truck,both screwed me on date,brought in truck and 2 days later picked up still didnt do anything.so im kinda meh with shops.other idea ive read...

do u know what type of coolant i should use also can i flush it with tap water?

:tank: if it gets 4.5-5mpg and dont break* down first month then everything should be fine.as i know i can upgrade engine and transmission to match 70mph and add coffin box afterwards.

ya,already went thru 60 pages :D ,per manual gcwr is 105k ,it can go 25mph 3.90% grade full.how fast it would go under 80k at 6-8% grade ?as i see new engines produce 1500ft lb or more .cummins only 1250.does it mean i will crawl with flashers any grade :D if so,what can i do to sustain decent...

i meant it takes awhile to build up off cold start.but driving it holds 100 psi.it developed after trip ,noticed on gas station 100 miles before home. is this possible to add air ride to this truck ?thanks.
