RobDuece, what is the tank capacity?
I guess there are less and less members even in the VFDs that can drive these trucks properly...
Our department does not consider re-built apparatus as being new, so we really have no way of using a surplus truck.
TM 9-2320-361-20 shows the splined part of the shaft (the "inner" piece) as being attached to the rearmost yoke....but there is no mention that it has to be that way. The graphic/description applies to all propeller shafts, except the intermediate shaft on an M36A2.
Can we see a pic of the data plate? Is it an original M109 w/w? Very nice looking truck. I also like the delineator panels....probably spent some time in Europe? No lollipop turn signals, though. Air assist steering...very nice!
How much oil are we talking about? My shutoff cover always contains a small amount of lube oil, perhaps two or three spoons full. It does not leak because the O-rings and the cover gasket are new. I put this down to normal IP lubrication.
I can see this leaking out with a defective gasket or...

This appears to be a bracket that also closes off the third suction port of the oil pump that is NOT being used in the LDT, but is used in the LDS. Can...
Yes, pics please. There are variations, some full metal, some metal and bakelite (don't like those). The shape does not matter, as long as it has the right thread. You did jumper the brake light switch wires to check that the lights themselves and, by extension, the circuit through the light...
NAPA has civilian switches that also work if you do not want to wait.
