M715 Starter
Got it out! Bendix was stuck, took putting it in 4wd and banging it 3 times with a front-end loader. Still took ½ an hour to get it off after that. Not going to ask if anybody has an idea where to get another one at a decent price?
Ya, ive got the stock 1967 230, the back of the starter is up against a small piece of the block next to the oil dipstick. Ive hammered, crow bared, and cursed in 8 inch’s of snow, and it wont come loose.
New WalBro 6000 Fuel Pump put on the M715. In the bottom of it, the little anti siphon ball keeps getting stuck shut after 5 miles of driving. Have to stop and push it in and then go for another 5 mile. Can I take it out? What is the PSI of the WalBro 6000 Fuel Pump? What is the PSI for the...
If I take the float cover off, and blow into the fuel inlet, the needle sticks when the float is down. The needle will eventually pop open, but it takes a lot of lungpower PSI. Then when I lift the float, it closes again, but then it sticks again when the float goes down, when I blow in it...
Put a new needle valve in, and it keeps sticking shut, running 4-½ psi fuel pressures. Its not the float closing it, its just sticking shut. Any ideas on freeing it up? Thanks, Nate :?:
Ive got a M715 with 35-12.50 R16LT Super Swappers on it, and still using the original lock ring rims. Ive just had my 98th flat tire again due to the inner tube. And in the process of changing the tube out, I about took off my thumb. Where can I get some rims for the M715 that will fit the...
Blew the oil line that runs from the back of the oil pressure-sending unit, to the back of the engine. Dose that hook up to the back of the valve cover? Where can I get one soon, and if it dose hook up to the back of the valve cover, a new valve cove gasket.
Thanks, Nate
I just got a 24-volt heater for my truck. Dose anyone have a diagram / Know where the hose connects up to the engine, and then to the heater, and from the heater back to the motor. I see a plug on the back of the water pump, but I can’t find another plug anywhere. Any info would be much...
On the M715’s Carb, after rebuilding the Carb, is the idle –mixture needle backed out about a turn and a ½? Any suggestions on a different carb? Thanks, Nate
RE: One of these?
Ya, this is just a baby winch, it only has a 1.4 HP 12V motor, with a battery need of 12Amp / hour minimum. I want it for like the deer thing, but for lifting large rocks and logs on the farms. The mobile home axels, I plan on having a quick mount fabricated, and mounted...
I’ll go out check the info in a little while, after the storm blows over. The winch is a 4000lb ATV winch. Im just mounting it in the back of the bed, and devising some tow truck lift arms out of a couple of mobile home axles with a snatch block on the end, to help me lift logs and large rocks...
Anybody have a “Vacuum line” diagram? All mine are just plugged, were whaen i got it, but id like to get them right before I go to an electronic ignition.
Thanks, Nate
