I think a little dripped out from the cap

I havent filled it recently. It was full. If it was the head gasket, wouldnt the engine be running rough?

I have a M1008 . Today when I started it cold, I noticed a small puddle of coolant on the ground. When it was still cold, I removed the radiator cap. Lots of flkuid came gushing out, and bubbles. I also noticed the reservior was filled very high. What is going on?

If the relay is supposed to be 12v, then I guess it is OK. I thought the 24 volt was supposed to be stepped down to 12 by the resistor. Maybe this is simpler than I thought.

I cant get the mounting plate nut off. It was torqued to 110 ft lbs. I have soaked it in penetrating oil, hit it with the torch, and pounded on it with the chisel. You mentioned using a punch? Where should I hit it with a punch? I dont think my chisel is effective. I must not be hitting...

which mity vac do you use?

I am finding it very difficult to access the two nuts on the firewall, behind the steering wheel/column. I tried dropping the steering column, but that doesn't really help. Do I need to pull out the dash to get in there?

Between the plate and the firewall. I was concerned that that is where it is leaking. Do you reuse the old one? I am worried that I am going to get into this and not be able to get that funny nut off to switch the plate.

I got a hydraboost 527307 from NAPA. No backing plate came with it. I have to take apart the old one. It also doersnt appear to have the rubber gasket.

Thanks. Should I replace the master cylinder too ? There is a rubber seal, gasket 14004810. Does that come with the new hydraboost? I suspect that is where it is leaking. It isnt leaking into the cab.

short Unplugged both harness running to tailights and harness running to head lights. Still have the short. Running outof options. Next I will dig into the dash. Got a short finder, but it didnt help me much. I couldnt make any sense of of the signals it was giving me.
