well, we had a great time in the middle of nowwhere nc airport. brian spent most of his time wrenching on the exhaust, LT and sarge looked busy all day, and eventually we ended up with an informal meeting. many thanks to all who showed up, we had a great time. enjoy the pics.

back in fall during the military living history, i got the go-ahead from mr. allison that we could use allison's woods for a get together. its just a tick north of statesville. but im still working on it, just another option.

like ken said, antique tag is cheaper. i run a transporter tag on mine, only 15 bucks a year, just dont get caught hauling any loads!!!!!!!!!

RE: heads also, when ya take out your pushrods, make sure the tappets stay in place. if not, just remember to re-seat them before putting the heads back on. and the new style head gaskets do not require any sealant or a hot engine re-torque. plus the torque requirements are different then...
