    help with run flat tool

Makes a ton of sense. Good to know it is probably a real tool. Still missing manufacturers ID.

    help with run flat tool

Hmmmm, I imagine it's easy to counterfeit a tool like that and slap a label on it with the NSN and a barcode. There are no other markings on my tool, such as a manufacturer name, part number or anything else. I've seen thousand of tools used in the military, they all just have a different feel...

    help with run flat tool

I'll try to weld a bracket between the two side to keep it from spreading, or install some reinforcement. Consider doing the same if you want to keep using the tool. I did end up using this method found on YouTube: Not as easy as it looks, but it did work :p:D

    help with run flat tool

I figured that. I messaged the seller, and dropped the words "counterfeit tool". Almost offended, he did refund the money and told me to keep the tool as the shipping wouldn't be worth it. That should tell you something. I don't know if it is a counterfeit, but without the bolt it is useless...

    SF 97 Status

Mines' a 1999, so just over 25 years. I believe my wife is in touch with our agency, Farm Bureau. They weren't opposed to it, but needed more info and the title/tags. Now that we have that, hopefully it'll be good to go. I'll keep you updated on rates.

    help with run flat tool

I just recently purchased a tool on FleaBay, it arrived two nights ago and I have been having a night mare of a time. The force of the large sprocket has pushed against the worm gear and then forced the side bracket out, allowing the wormgear and sprocket to jump a tooth, halfway into using it...

    SF 97 Status

I went to the County Treasurer and just under 10 minutes had my plates and the title request filled out. The nice lady behind the counter said I should get it within 4 to 6 weeks. Not a problem at all. I love the rural setting and how helpful city employees still are. Plus, South Dakota is...

    SF 97 Status

Funniest thing, I got home from work yesterday evening and the damn thing was in the mailbox, delivered by Fed EX.... So, off to the DMV this afternoon. Hopefully it won't be much of an issue getting a title and plates. Yeah, the tracker isn't working, and wait times depend much on the...

Hey all, I've been sitting on my M1123 from Yermo for quote some time now (purchased 3/20/24, released 4/26/24,picked up 5/07/24). It will be 2 months right after the holiday weekend since it was picked up, and yet the GP site still reads no update. What gets me a bit worried is that the 'Sent...

2 man soft top set up, Camo

Hey all, I am looking for a lightly faded camo 2 man soft top set up. New is too bright in color and wouldn't look right. If I had to put a number on it, the paint is about 85% fresh (15% faded). I am looking for the top, rear curtain, 2 doors. Shipping is to South Dakota, 57793 Pls let...

    Nightmare for a noob…….

That is probably the best solution. I get the vent line is supposed to take care of pressure differences, but what if you wanted to keep some sort of control measure to see if it is pushing fuel out and the failed pump isn't showing other clear signs of failure? A puddle of diesel somewhere or...

    Nightmare for a noob…….

Would you say it would be worth disconnecting that vent from the system and routing it to the side to avoid all the calamity? The thought of running all the components gives me nightmares...

    Lug Nuts M1123

I just got my front wheels done. I tried to reuse some of the less distorted nuts. Even the best ones were somewhat tight to get on. I think 2 of the 16 I was able to run all the way down with more force than I like. Then I got the brand new ones. Man, absolutely zero resistance, just like they...

    Gasket makers

I am now digging into the steering control arm as a leak developed. I found the mounting bolts were not as tightly installed as it should be (65 ft lbs), so I need to redo the driver side. Looking into the gasket stuff, I found some VERY educational videos from Permatex, explaining almost every...

Nice find, thank you! $2.29 vs $0.99, just saved me over $40... :D

    Lug Nuts M1123

Hey all, I am finally getting to reinstall the front wheels, and the TM reads to run the lug nuts on all the way with finger strength. Well, with the lug nuts I removed, this will be an impossible task. I can't even get 5 of 8 on with a ratchet or the impact wrench. Looking at the cone end of...
