Telephonics netcom power pinout and voltage

Can you set us up with some part numbers, NSNs, or any other information to get a rolling start on these? This is the first I've heard of this system and I'm not finding any solid data. Also, have you tried contacting Telephonics or Oshkosh? It looks like Telephonics advertises that their...

VIC to Cellphone Adapter and Military Radio Digital Modes Adapter

You'd really hate me. I just got 4 of them for $12.50 each, but I've already traded two of them for about $200-350 worth of stuff, and the other two are spoken for. I'm not sure what truck these things fell off of, but a lot of people that don't know what these are found this crate of missing...

    Nartron/KDS S3 Diagnostic Interface

I've already got the MSD-ICE adapter set talking to a non-Miltope computer. (Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit) I can't run half the programs at this time because they are not compatible with a 64-bit system. In the near future, I'll yank an old laptop and set it up with Windows XP SP3, 32-bit edition so...

    Nartron/KDS S3 Diagnostic Interface

All this info looked useful and relevant, so I decided to copy it here and put in bold the most relevant info...

    Nartron/KDS S3 Diagnostic Interface

I just did a quick & dirty review of the MSD-ICE test kit on eBay and it got me thinking about things I could test using the digital DPA device. Obviously, there's the GM UART connector to test the 4L80E TCM, but I also realized the the S3 control box has a SAE J1939 connector, which that kit...

Spindle Replacement & alternate a/c options

I don't have any of those answers. An A/C kit isn't in my upgrade list for quite a while...

Spindle Replacement & alternate a/c options

At least to address the large condensor of the red dot system, you could get one of the in-fender units. It requires you to cut out a vent into the side of the fender, then you have to brace this assembly up into the wheel well. It's a pretty good setup since it just uses dead space in the...

    M998 Upgrades

4L80E all the way! I'm working on that one right now. If you have a 2-man HMMWV, consider upgrading your rear door inserts. Either get the actual swing-open half doors, or install a set of fixed doors that have the tool access (what I'm doing). Another little tidbit is I picked up a QP1800...

    Significant Fuel Leak M998

This. A whole lot of this. It really behaves like the "vampire" where fluid gets pressed up through the vent lines and floods every connected item with ATF. Otherwise, remember that new parts can be just as bad as old parts. It's not unheard of or even rare that a "brand new" part is DOA.

Options for mounting spare in HMMWV bed

I know I've not seen that before, but it looks like there a LH and RH side. I'd try sending a message to that seller to get information on how it works and where it's setup. That's probably the best resolution, especially if they made the part on their own.

2017 Findlay Military Show May 19-21

I spent a lot of time there on Friday. What part were you setup in? Trying to figure out which guy you are.

Diagnostics help. Possible failed transfer case?

Hey, what do you know...I have a 218 sitting around. I'll shoot you a PM shortly.

    Trypoxylon politum and procrastination

There's also cat crap to help with that fog, or Op Drops. Can't say I've used either, but I knew of a lot of guys that used both while sweating in goggles.

Turret Bearing Support Needed for hard top roof?

Unfortunately, this is a really tough question to answer. My guess would be "Yes, you need the bearing support." but we're all at a loss here because you have an aftermarket top, have posted no pictures, and nobody really knows anything about it without more info about what roof you have...

    2017 Findlay buy sell trade

I would, but I'm looking to maximize the day. I've taken the whole day off work to get out there in the early morning. Plus, there's a small chance I might change plans and hit the Hamvention, in addition to Findlay.

    2017 Findlay buy sell trade

I think I'm making the right choice by choosing all day at Findlay on Friday over the Hamvention...Really want to do both, but the weekend is just too packed this year. Can anyone fill me in on how cash-based most of the sales here are? Not sure how PayPal/Credit-Ready most of the vendors here...

Hmmwv led tail light replacement bulbs?

BA9S bulbs are used in your dashboard and turn signal switch. If you want to change those too, I would recommend buying Alpinetech, as Swamp Donkey did a lot of testing and found those to be the best. I have them installed and they look pretty good, but I haven't driven them at night yet. I...

Options for mounting spare in HMMWV bed

Run flat gets you out of dodge/allows the vehicle to handle reasonably well if a sudden blowout occurs. The best option, runflat or not, is to pull over immediately and change the tire to prevent further damage and possibly get to salvage your damaged tire. I also personally don't know how a...

Hmmwv led tail light replacement bulbs?

I don't know exactly what ones have the SS stamp of approval, but it would just a BA15S (Bayonet Connector, 15mm, Single Lead) LED bulb that's compatible with 24V, which usually means it has circuitry in it to be an "omnivolt" 12-30V bulb. Also make sure it's of the right brightness to be...

    Newport News?

I got hired to do silly little jobs like that when I was freshly back home from basic without anything to do... installed antivirus software, reset router passwords, etc. Really dumb stuff that people had "heard you needed to do," but just really didn't know how. Great way to get $10 here, $20...
