If it turns out to be the same weekend as the GA rally, I've decided to go to RC instead. It's closer, I love the offroading at RC, and it's 16 hours to the GA rally which means less gas money. Just personal preference I guess, but I like the RC folks, and I really can't afford a big ass trip...

One thing I have found in offroading with all sorts of things, I had a couple friends with 2wd vehicles, and have found that when offroading in 4wd, wide tires are better. However, you'll find that in 2wd, wide tires (in front) will act as a drag, and more of a hindrance than using narrow tires...

Find a junker CJ-5 and rip the 4x4 parts off it, swap onto yours. My opinion.
