Parts can be stripped from any vehicle not adequately secured.
Vandalism has not yet been mentioned, but is worth your consideration as well.

I used my super secret decoder ring and came up with HardWare. Maybe the OP (Original Poster o the question) will chime in and confirm or refute this deciphering.
Applause for the team player you are, Artisan. Sharing expenses on detailed item improvements is a great idea.
Hope you find good partners in this.

Wolfgang,
Our condolences to you and your family.
I pray that the memories you carry will be precious and, in a sense, live on in a different yet similar loving tribute of a military vehicle. Each time you drive or tinker with your green iron remember those you have loved and lost.
Blessings,
John

Pumpkin LOVES the XM-818's running board/step and the deck behind the cab. He's been missing the tool box since I removed it to access the fuel tank selector switch. It'll be reinstalled soon though.
WOW !
I agree.
I doubt the Expedition's front wheels would have been on the ground with TWO of those suckers dangling from the back if my 500-600 estimate were accurate. Handling mine one leg at a time solo was sure a task. Sorry if I overestimated.

My step-daughter responded to an online offer for a FREE canoe in need of some plastic-bottom repair. She wants to use it for her "indian" themed birthday party for our almost 2-year old granddaughter.
Well, just as the sun was setting I was "invited" to help go pick it up all the way across...
The Pin connecting the Legs of this Heavy Tow Bar at the Lunette Ring is 1-1/2", whereas the Feet Ends and the Shackles shown have 1-1/4" Pins.
The Sheriff's Crew used this Tow Bar (and another that they kept) only when winching their two APCs onto and off of the trailer they transported them...
