    Bolts

Worst case scenario, if you want the old bolt head style, but new bolt (if your old bolt threads are rusted off) cut off the old heads and weld them onto the new bolt shaft.

    Marine trucks?

Army vets believe that Marine trucks do get surplussed out, but they usually have their controller memories removed before they get surplussed. Actually, the memory is removed prior to field service as well. rofl

you gotta check out this 6x6 Power Wagon

Only major thing I would've done differently is use dually axles in the rear, perhaps the stock WC-62 axles modded for this purpose. Pickup trucks with fifth wheels and singles in the rear make me cringe, I've heard of accidents because of rear end sway in fifth-wheel equipped singled-out...

Deuce with a Flamethrower! - Sons of Guns

Looks like he's burning diesel fuel. I rarely see flamethrower operators use real napalm, and I'll tell you, it's as different as night and day. Napalm sticks to the target, it's more a gel than anything else. It splatters and splashes, makes the enemies have a REAL bad day. Man up and use...

    new 715 owner

I also heard that the Tornado engine, the stock engine in the -715, had an early form of overhead cam, and the cam was fine but it required a LONG chain to drive it, which tended to stretch over time. Not sure if that's right or not, I've only worked around one -715 engine and it hummed fine...

you gotta check out this 6x6 Power Wagon

Saw this on the Power Wagon forums - its a Dodge flat fender power wagon, that has been converted into a 6x6 tractor with a 6BT Cummings engine. Sure it's a LOT of money, but there's gotta be a LOT of work in this beast... For Sale - 1952 Power Wagon 6x6 with Cummins 6BT Diesel conversion...

    new 715 owner

The M715 is one awesome rig, if I had the $$$ I'd buy one to build into a trail rig with a 5.9 Cummins, 11.00x16 XL tires and the front winch. They reek military toughness, and they are easy to work on as well. Glad you saved one!

    Rear window Plexiglas??

Hey Joe, If you plan on using the CUCV offroad only, plexi is fine. On road - DOT safety glass is only way to go. The scratched flexi issue is not that important compared to your safety. Good going on the CUCV, I have seen your other posts on the truck we went up and got together, and...

Are there M35A2's around that were repowered with M35A3 drivetrain.

There were also a few M35A2s that had Cummins 6BTs put in at the factory, I was told for export to countries that requested that mod. More info on these trucks is elsewhere on this site....

A rack to make Dolly Jealous

I'm not a big fan of mounting a HMMWV pioneer rack on that thing like twa did, go old school, the one for the deuce is much tougher and better designed. Good CUCV rack!

new M416 trailer in the stable

Been a while, felt like tearing into the trailer today. I might have a need for it shortly, so it's gonna start the transformation from lawn ornament into a working trailer. Got to work with a angle grinder with a sanding disc, and starting hitting the frame channels, knocked off about 10...

    M62 in South Carolina

It's worth getting, parting out what you can (you get more for good parts than scrap), and shredding the rest. Folks here need parts...

    more progress on the M37

Engine compartment wasn't repainted, but everything in there works. It needs some finishing up but I'm out of time, money and patience. But mostly money. Currently listed in the SS classifieds for sale.
