Another great save, Dirt! Will this be a restoration, or are you going to use this rig as a parts truck for the other gasser?

    2010 Haspin rally BS thread

Okay, I'm leaving the homestead. Wish me luck, it's 7.5 hours until I hitch up with the rest of the Carolina contingent. Long, sleepy way to travel until I get convoy support. I think I'll take a Red Bull or two and haul ass outta here. See ya'll there....

    M920 Drop side Deuce bed.

Looks BEEFY. Makes a 5-ton look small. Add a winch bumper extension to the front and a winch off a M813 and you're good to go!

Amy, you can get a test drive in my M37 when it shows up Wednesday night, if you wish.... Well the truck is loaded up, the fluids are checked and the PM is done. All I have to do now is get my daughter off to her uncle's place for the next couple days, and get some shut-eye for a few hours...

    2010 Haspin rally BS thread

Don't worry about it, Dennis - last year I didn't use the pressure washer, I just let most of the dried mud fall off on I-64 in Kentucky and West Virginia. I'm sure the people behind me appreciated it. Heck, there is still some dried mud on the deuce from last year!

how to turn up fuel...in pictures?

Will consider myself advised. Also will search on this topic and see if I can't find out more info. If this adjustment raises the EGT too much, I might not consider it any further. Right now, hammer down on the flat and level I can pull 2500 rpm, maybe 2600. That's already to the limit, in...

NAPA part number for M37 u-joint?

Does anyone know if there is a NAPA available part for the M37 U-joint? I figured I would get a spare or two if I happen to drop the driveshaft on the M37 towing to Haspin, and I drop the u-joint in the dirt. Last time I did that, the ends of the u-joint came apart and all the needle bearings...

WAY high air pressure, brakes very stiff

Yesterday while going home from towing the M37, I noticed the brakes got REAL stiff, talking about maybe 1/2 inch of play. Plenty of stopping power, so nothing wrong there, but I did notice the air pressure was pegging the needle on the right side of the air pressure gauge. Easily 120 psi...
