Ding ding ding! Looks like we have a winner in the distance department! PM me with the details, cost, when exactly you'll be here, etc.
timntrucks, if I was you, I'd snag that deal. $550 for a complete laundry trailer is highway robbery - for the seller! With the genset on that puppy and...
Just a side question, Bjorn - why are you considering buying a replacement engine, when the current deuce engine works and needs repair? You're quite the mechanical guru - just curious why you have already seemed to select replacement over repair.
If anyone got one of the 5-ton laundry trailers in the past year that had any of the equipment on it, I am looking for a couple units off of it, more specifically the hot water heater, and the water pump. They must be in working order. The trailer I got earlier this year had junker units on...
We need pics of those trucks, especially the M125! They are getting rare as hen's teeth, and with as few as are left, it's important to find out where the survivors are.

Now if only our favorite M656-series owner Bjorn would put those tires of his tractor.....
Sorry Bjorn, but cheap originals just aren't out there. Gotta complete the truck with some newer, and safer rubber....:-D
Is there a military issue test rig for testing standard handsets, such as the M80, H189, and H250? Seems to me the only way to test handsets I have now requires two people, two radios, and they are actually broadcasting to see if they can hear each other.
There must be a simpler way to hook...
If you want to be a serious user of the PRC-25/77 family of backpack radios, I really recommend the power adapters that Brooke Clarke makes. They allow you to use D cell batteries, even rechargeable ones, so that you never have to rely on a questionable supply of the magnesium batteries which...
KICK A$$ !! Just got a PM from NewMVGuy, seems our display and nickd's mule made the cover of this month's MTA newsletter. Glad they liked it enough to put it on the cover!

That's not unusual - lots of scrapyards let things sit around outside. From our perspective, it's their fault. From their perspective, it's ours - they didn't have the inside room to keep it all, and if it really was worth it's weight in gold, we would've bought it long ago.
That's one of...
Might be up there Thursday evening this year, staying till Sunday. I can't get off early enough at work to arrive mid-day Thursday, but at least I'll be able to get 2 full days of off-roading up there.
Hope someone with a smaller MV will let me have some wheel-time, I'll trade you use of my...
That is the most, uh, red military type vehicle I have seen. Well, at least since I saw that M-816 wrecker that Alfa has.
Very cool save, looks in nice shape! Keep it and paint it camo, PLEASE!
Interesting truck. Not sure if the grille guard is original or not. Looks pretty solid, you've got a good start.
What's that in yellow mounted by the passenger door, a mailbox?
