I have confirmed that these fit M105 trailer and CUCV pickup. They might also work for M101 trailer and other flatbed trailers, as long as the bed are approximately 36-40 inches off the ground. I had 4 of these at the Aberdeen show and for $60 each they walked away fast. This is a great price...
I'd check, myself, just to make sure, but the river than goes through town isn't the Mississippi, I doubt it would rise that much. However, if there is at least a good heavy shower before the event, that makes for some quality gumbo to try wheeling through!
Wouldn't mind convoying to Haspin from my direction, but noone this far east seems to want to go. :( Trying to convince AM30Y+'s sons to carpool with me, but not sure they can take off work...
Dennis, good thing that hose busted now, and not next week. Get all the gremlins worked outta the...
I just bought a XM1061 flatbed trailer from n3uka, up in MD. The laundry stuff has already been stripped off, and I plan on using it as a flatbed hauler for my jeep. The jeep will barely fit under the "frame" that is built on the bed, but I plan on leaving that, since the trailer also comes...
Most of the wreckers coming out recently have been M816 series. Occassionally there is a M543 or an M62 that has been hiding somewhere remote for decades, but the majority of those early trucks are gone...
From what I understand from previous threads, there isn't going to be a lot of trucks shipped to Chambersburg anymore, unless they are coming from NG units that are pretty close to there. Ones coming from north of Mid Atlantic area will go to Ft. Meade, and those from south will either hit the...
It's amazing what a little color change on the roof can do. When I was a kid, all buses were painted yellow and had black stripes. They are the same now, except for the roof which is white.
Excellent save! That's a good trade no matter who you are! I'd flip the headlights, they are supposed to be in the high position when a winch is installed. Repaint her and you've got a real winner there!
I have seen many many more 1950-1954 M37s than the later model, the M37B1, which was made in the 1960s. I understand that this is a result of the later model being built with much thinner metal, and many have rusted away (I have read this in several texts as well). Question I have is, if you...
I know the only surviving Vietnam gun truck is Eve of Destruction, at the Army Transportation Museum at Ft. Eustis, VA. There might be one or two still in Vietnam on display at a state-owned motor pool (pile) of captured USA armor (not sure about that but I have heard rumors). However, my...
It would be a shame to scrap them. Buy them both and make one good one out of the pair. They make repair panels for old 70s Dodges, they are pretty cheap if you do the work yourself.
