Got part 2 of the hand air brake installed. Cleaned out the valve and replaced all the Teflon tape. Then spent 3 hours under the truck getting all the lines plumbed onto the valve with no room for comfort. (Probably should have done this while the engine was out last year.) But I got it done and...
Had a great time at Biff's last night. Three of us were there. Quite a few cars and people out there. As it gets warmer there should a lot more people out. Hope to see more at next Fridays Cruise in at Biffs.
Also for the get together on the 8th of April at The Forum in Selma I am looking for...
I installed the cab light some time ago but never got around to showing it off, it works great. Also installed hazmat placards on all four sides, in case I ever find enough ammo cans to put together an ammo transport display.
Today I installed the first half of the steering column mounted hand...
Not sure if you have looked. But start calling around to insurance companies to see what commercial truck insurance will cost. I had plans on doing something similar part time with my M915A1/M872A1. A few phone calls and I changed my plans pretty quick.
Looking at putting together a meet and greet out here in Universal City at/near The Forum on APR 8th around lunchtime. More info to follow. Any takers?
XM200A1B1 Build Project
Finally making some progress on my XM200A1B1 fifth wheel dolly project. Started with an M200A1 and added 2 fifth wheel rails from an M931 to the inside of the frame. Next part is to place a piece of 6in square steel and bolt it on the trailer frame rails and the fifth...

I am having a problem locating larger drill bits that will work on frames and the metal on a trailer I am modifying. SO far I need a 9/16 and there is a larger one as well that I don't have a size for. Anybody have a place that they get larger drill bits from that work well for metals?
Thanks, Mik
There is a group of us that own MVS in the area, we try and do car shows, parades, etc in the area. Don't need an MV to show up, it is our first get together of the year. We are on Facebook as "The Green Iron Gang".
It does look like a seat cushion. Not sure about the coolant leak, hmmwv are not my area of expertise. On another note on 04Feb at 1100 we are meeting at the Bill Miller's off 281 and Bitters RD if you are interested.
Got the fender and lights back on from the engine swap. Put on the oil filter conversion kit, which is awesome other than a pesky class 1 oil leak, just a drop every now and then. Put on a new flasher relay, I have been have turn signal issues since I got the truck and that seems to have fixed...
I am in the planning stages of converting an M200A1 into a trailer dolly. I have the outer rails that attach to a truck frame, ramps and fifth wheel from a 5 ton sourced and have a plan that may work. The plan is to flip the rail and bolt them to the inside of the trailer frame, bolt structural...
OK, time to get back to the grind. I would like to have our first meet and eat of the year at Bill Miller's off 281 and Bitters RD. The date will be 04FEB at 1100. Hope to see everyone there.
