Here is a pic I just uploaded using safari, and a screen shot of what the upload manager looks like on the iPad. It's the exact same process as on the PC. Of its not working try clearing your cookies under Settings>Safari>Clear Cookies and Data.

I know you said you do not use the app, have you ever tried TapaTalk? It's a very well put together program and it makes browsing SS on a mobile device so much nicer.
I would say if you wanna sell it either 1)get it fixed or 2) price the truck knowing it will need fixin. If you do decide to sell it make shre the buyer knows what they are gettin into. Write up a recipt and make sure you and the seller sign it before it leaves the property. List it...

I have normal plates on mine, I have it registered as a class 5 (11,001-14,000LBS). $243.00 annually for the registration. I found it was the easiest way to go. I can still haul stuff, although not much since the total vehicle weight can't go over 7 tons...
May I suggest adding some counterweight in the front of the bed if you use the sliding method. Not sure how much you would need to "balance the bed". I guess it would depend on how far back you slide it.
My deuce is like that, just puttin around in a field out back or idling it refuses to make it to operating temps. BUT when I hit the road it will get to operating temps in a normal (or what I believe is normal) amount of time.
Take yours for a spin on the road and see what happens...

It wouldn't make sense to turn the battery switch off, while I have never driven one of these trucks I would think the concept behind a battery switch on all vehicles is the same. Honestly it sounds like you have some electrical issues that need tracked down
