Welcome to the site, lots of good info here. Make sure you search the site before you ask questions, this will keep the thread police from getting you! Lots of good people in the southwest burbs if you need help.
What are you guys thinking about for decking the trailer? I am thinking about 1/2 inch aluminum plate about 24 inches wide up against the existing rail for the container and leaving the middle open for access. I am worried about adding too much weight and lowering the amount of weight it can carry.
Got my starter back from repair yesterday, put it in and after a few tries it started right up. Checked the hydraulics and everything works. How did you guys reprogram the wireless remote?
I have been watching this thread, I have one of these trailers. I bought mine in the first group. My starter is the same as all the rest, filled with water and rust. The air ride filled right up and holds air, also checked the 24 volt light connection and they work too. I bought new batteries...
Thanks alot!! The frame and canvas is in good condition, but some of the connector pieces on the curved sections are broken. I guess it was not anchored properly and took a ride in the wind.
Just picked one of these up, it has a few broken parts and I am looking for the TM to find the part numbers. I've searched and have found threads of people talking about them, but no one has uploaded the TM that I could find. Thanks.
I would like to say thanks for all the hard work you guys are putting in to improve the site. Its going to take a while to get used to, but i've already found most of the things I like about the site. Thanks again!!
Thanks for your opinion. I am surprised at how heavy it is, that would definatly change my plan to retrieve it if it works out. I think my trailer is only good for 7000. I have seem a thread where someone was going to convert to diesel with a newer cummins. Thanks again!
