The M52 is already shorter, so technically your nit bobbing it if you just convert it to 2 axles. If you are going to make it some sort of quad cab you will never need the full weight capacity, so removing an axle isnt all bad. Just use decent springs(not trailer springs) and all will be fine...
Meh.. im still young.. in fact working and bobbing the truck all MANually has helped me stay in shape.. im only 40.
But id still rather not break the seal on those rims if i can just trade the entire setup for what i need.. those Orings can be a PITA sometime and i just would rather not deal...
Went to OK to pick up some tires for my project. Got them home and realized they are on MRAP rims and thus has the wrong bolt pattern. Ugh.. lots of driving for not.

I did drive sown the street with the boys in the pool... they loved it. They said it was like a violent wave pool just tossing them everywhere.. only had about 1/3 the water when i got back.... hmmm
