I'm bobbing my M52 (is it really bobbing if I'm not shortening the frame) and thinking of runing exhaust behind cab so ill have a 6 inch or so gap between cab and bed. Thinking about stowing my towbar here. Any pics of some of the mounting brackets that have been used to hold a set of medium...
Finally got the rear axles off of the M52. What a PITA to get all of the rivets and bolts out. aua
Now I gotta start grinding the rivets to get the front axle off of the M54. Yay.. sometimes I wonder why I do this.
I'm gonna try to make it. That is, if I get my m52 bobbed and back running by then.. lord know nothing much happens in the way of rallies in the CO area.
im pretty sure I have one sitting on a crate in my barn in Colorado. It would need a full rebuild. I took it out of a WC4 that I stripped to the frame. Frame ended up bent and cracked all the way through then hack job welded. It had been a logging company truck at some point. decided to keep the...
nope. those date wont work for me. not this year at least wont be back till late sept. some of us are still out defending our country and its interests.
I have a M925a1 w/w that has the 250 in it. I dont have any issues with mine at all, or perhaps I have just never had my truck at sea level to know the difference. Id assume as long as you dont have it loaded down to max trying to climb some of our mountian roads you should be fine.
I haven't had any issues. I fired my m925 w/w up at -10 last week. just cranked up as normal, no ether. Maybe it was just luck or something. My multifuel was a bit tougher. had to shoot some ether into the intake and it fired.
so doing some research and contacting the titling dept of GL. I gave them the VIN off of the chassis and all they could tell me is it comes back to an AM General. still unsure of the year. It does appear to be a M923 w/w.
i have a truck that the data plate says is a m923a2 WO/W. It currently runs the NHC250 without any turbo, it runs dual g177s, and it has the PTO winch on the front. I was under the impression all a2 trucks had the 6CT (8.3L) and the CTIS. So im confused. what exactly do I have or how do i find...
bought a M52 with the MF, but im deployed. So she sits next to the barn patiently waiting for me to come home in march..so sad
at some point someone has put a flatbed on the back of her.. hmmmm, not a bad idea. thinking maybe i can somehow modify that to some sort of rollback or PLL system...
hoping im in the right place.
just bought a M52A2 that has a home made flatbed on it right now. I honestly have only seen pics of it because im currently deployed. Im having it delivered to my house after the new foryear. It runs and drives so there is a start at least. Anything i need to look...
