I researched this topic long ago. What I was told was that it boiled down to the fact that Am General was trying to sell the civy model (H1) for over $50k and the government was dumping HMMWVs to the public out the surplus door for scrap values this created a rift between the two. When I asked...
I agree with everybody. Another place to check for blockage is the "T" that splits the brake line to both front calipers, I have seen blockage in that spot before. You tend to get gunk built up any where that there are two fittings connected. The flare connectors are just slightly smaller ID...
Yup I figured I'd go ahead and change em. Went by Springfield Tractor and Trailer today and got belts, tomorrow I'll get the bolts, and Wedensday I will piece her back together. I will be good for Friday.
M915 Broken Bolt...UPDATE...
As I mentioned in my last post I had contacted WillWagner this morning about my problem and afterwards I had moved on to disassemble the fan clutch and mounting assembly so I could take the mounting plate into a machine shop for removal of what was left of the...
.........UPDATE.........After talking the matter over with WillWagner today I got started on the tear down........Got the mounting plate off about 20 min ago and will drop it off at the local machine shop tomorrow for the bolt extraction. A special thanks goes out to WillWagner for the helpful...

Yup........ I use gillespie, I buy it in rattle can and by the gallon for spraying. Just another quick tip........To save some money, buy rattle cans of KRYLON flat black it is a perfect match.
For me, when painting camo, I like to use the rattle cans to do the outlines before flling in with the color. The fan tips on the the cans can be tricky doing the outlines without making a mess of your pattern. Here's a tip...... If you take a razor blade and carefully shave down the raised...
Ok Guys Here We Go.
I'm gonna change the fuel filter on the big girl and I couldn't find a primer or a bleeder anywhere on the beast. So I was wondering if you just top off the new filter with fuel, screw it on, and then get to cranking or what??? I would hate to air lock the fuel lines and have...
I'm gonna be changing the injector return lines on the old girl soon. Can someone tell me the process to bleed the air out of the new lines? Any help is much appreciated.
I have searched a lot of threads on the topic and could not dig up a final answer. I have heard that the ferrule nuts on the injector return lines are a an oddball thread.... If this is true has any body found a source and part number for them??? If it is not true is the Mcmaster # 50815k104 or...
