You will have to pull the pinion to replace the crush sleave. If you do not replace the pinion bearings you will need to have 10-15 in lbs of rotating torque and 20-25 in lbs for new bearings. Some people that do not want to tear down the rear end mark the pinion nut in relation to the pinion...
Illinois Drivers.............. I called the Illinois Dept of Revenue on this matter the other day. I simply told them that I wanted to know if I needed to get an IFTA sticker. The gentleman asked me If I was going to be leaving the state of Illinois. I replyed no, he then stated that I didnt...
Barrman beat me to it..... Sounds like the tire wear is due to an alignement issue. If your kingpins are in bad enough shape the clearance in them can cause vibration when braking. The clearance can also create a bad negative camber angle leading to the infamous death wobble. But like Barrman...
OK guys here it is.... The TM calls for OE/HDO 30 NSN 9150-01-178-4726 (1QT), 9150-00-188-9858 (5gal), or 9150-00-189-6729 (55gal) which according to MSDS reports is just SAE30. Is this what you should run or is everybody running 15w40 these days?

Bought my wiper arms and wiper blades today from O'reilly Auto Parts for $30.50 I will install them when I get the time........... This was a good post.[thumbzup]
It got pretty darn cold here last night...........Had the deuce plugged in for about 5 hours and she started like it was mid July, straight into a smooth idle I believe I have a winner.:jumpin:
Sorry about that, bad wording...............What I meant to say was that they have a new style nozzel that is all metal with out the leaky rear o-ring. I came across a post about it a while back but nobody said if they had actually purchased and installed one or not.
