I built a mudtruck out of a K20 PU and ran the HMMWV tires on it. The tires worked great and weren't too noisy on the interstate..........Just be sure to get them powder ballanced

When installing a new airpak do you just add a little oil, bleed the system, and you are good to go or is there another step in there? Also, how much oil should you add to a new airpak?

It sounds like you didn't have the plate squared up when the bolt was started. You might want to remove the plate then get a new grade 8 bolt and chase the threads on the steering knuckle with a tap. When you reassemble.... square up the plate and get all of the bolts started and run all of them...
