Is there a steel shoulder at the rubber end of the taper so you could use a tool like a ball joint tool?

    Two more rescued!!

Other than seeing that I used a properly licensed, insured trucker who's rig is set up for 27,000#s (more than the weight of 2 deuces) I really don't know what other care or due dilligence I could have exercised. Not being a trucking expert, those seemed like the correct things to verify. The...

My Deuces made it home today... (thanks to Mike with Kinetic Frieght Services http://kineticfreight.com/ , great service and rates, and yes, you can get 2 deuces on a 44' drop deck)... one had both lower torque rod rubbers torn out, so it took some rigging with chains and a ratchet binder to get...

How fast do you drive your Deuce?

I wrote the guy and asked how he managed to do 70 in a M35... he said he did it at 2400 rpm by running 50% diesel and 50% 97 octane gas.... What a load!!! rofl And to answer the original question... convoy speed for me is 45... it's a long story, but I have seen repeated proof with mine own...

    Welding for dummies

A billion years ago when I was a pup I thought I was a welder.. learned how to gas and stick weld from my friends... then the company I worked for sent me to their welding school to learn TIG... the instructor asked if I knew how to weld... I said 'oh hell yes'... he set up two 4" pieces of...

    Taxes on Gov liquidation?????

In Texas, they will give you credit for tax paid out of state. If you paid more than what you would owe in Texas (6.25%) in another state, they don't refund the difference. Unfortunately, GL charges 8.25% for texas sales tax, which is wrong on a motor vehicle but correct for other things. Don't...

M35 and a M715 in need of transport from michigan to wa.st.

Try Uship.com The more flexible you are on dates for pick-up and delivery the cheaper it will be... also, if it runs, consider meeting the truck in Seattle to reduce the empty miles they will have to run after they drop it off...

Thinking about adding a turbo....Is it worth it?

My NA produces some smoke, especially when it has not fully warmed up yet, but nothing like that. I usually can see a slight shadow from it on the hood if the sun is the right angle above and behind me, but I can only see it in the rear view if I have it floored trying to accelerate or go over a...
