My Deuce sheet metal has rusted out where the cowl in front of the windshield meets the windshield support... and also has rust in the 4 corners of the cab at the bottom... so.. I ma faced with a bunch of cutting and welding (off the frame to get it 'right'...) or just replace the cab with one...

Not much of a road trip.. about 4 miles from the house... here are a few pics from the Wings over Houston Airshow... the Military Museum of Texas was well represented... many of the WWII vehicles were from the 6Th Cavalry re-enactment group, who did a great job hosting the event and were also on...
I was driving my Deuce over to the airport where the Wings Over Houston airshow will be this weekend to get our passes and find out where on the field I was going to park... and at a red light a guy pulls up in the left lane and rolls down the passenger window and waves at me... I stick my head...
Finally got back to the truck and got underneath... all the e brake spings are gone, circlips are all gone, linings are all gone... flipping the inner shoe back and forth against the drum by hand makes EXACTLY the noise I have been hearing... new parts on order... she will sound better soon!!!

My M1090 cover needs a new home... I have the 'correct' cover now and no longer need this one... has kept my Deuce bed dry through our Houston monsoons... you have to kinda scrunch the front together with a couple of bungees... Will ship for my cost or you can pick up in Houston... my little...
