I dunno, I've seen some guys that cross their chains.........but while in the Towing and Recovery business for 10 years, I never crossed my chains. Neither did any of the other tow companies that I visited or stopped by for a pick up....The only people I've seen do that are the hobbyists.

Re: RE: City Hall problems?

My court date is tomorrow (3-26-08 ) for driving my five ton on my own street out of my drive way. They are trying to hit me with the " Truck Route " ord.
We'll see what happens.......??

50-55 is a real nice cruz'n speed for the my five ton......Tires, steering....and just enough power on reserve for the hills

Enjoy the spring time and drive'n in the 813.
Cheers,

With the same combo as yourself....except for the trany...I like to keep it under 2100 rpm's......
At 2100 rpm's your speed should be around 62-65 mph, which should be fast enough..

The orginal Military paint and primer is some really hard stuff to sand. I find myself going through a lot of sand paper as well.......I have decided if the paint isn't not in bad shape, it just gets sanded smooth and repainted.
Good luck with the paint work,
C'dub
