Digging in deeper-I poured evaporust on top of pistons this morning. #1 drained by the time I got home tonight. 2,3,4 are holding steady. Still no movement at all. Decided to pull the side cover and see what I could see. Lots of crud in the sump. Some rusting visible on...
Not yet, I am able to concentrate the rust dissolver around piston perimeter now. Am going to allow it to soak and keep working it. I have no movement at all at the moment. Trying to not completely take engine apart.Going to just wait and try to keep it moving. Glad I took the head off though...

So, after soaking for 24 hours, no movement and my reviewing other threads of locked engines, I decided to pull the head. The following pics speak volumes.

Appreciating all the suggestions so far guys. Going to let the wonders of chemistry do their thing for a few days and see how it goes. I am in no rush, other than my persistent impatience, so will see how it goes. And yes, I will start taking pics and post accordingly!
So, Picked up the 803 this morning. Just as many said the rest of the crank bolt came out by hand. Good sigh! Took the injectors out, sprayed with penetrating oil. Welded a nut on to the remnants of the crank bolt. Leaned on it pretty hard, no movement. Hmmmm, how am I going to try and get this...
I know this is a "no no" to talk about here, but I will just say that that fear is what drove me to start looking at these generators. Will leave it at that.
Anyone know where I can get an 803 crankshaft bolt. The one that goes in the water pump end of engine. I have reached out to someone that had parts listed in classifieds but no answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Fang, trust me, I don't give up easily and welcome a good challenge! I am confident this one will live again. These motors are pretty simple and with the help and support of this site, and those $#%* TM's, I will make it work! I will keep everyone updated as we go along.
Jama, this is good stuff! I made a deal with him and am getting the whole rig for under a grand. Once I get it back to the shop, take it off trailer, I will evaluate what is up with it and make a plan. I like your suggestion and advice. Will start to source head gasket and others to accomplish...
Jama, I wish we were closer, I would take you up on that!! We have been going back and forth and I just sent my final offer of $800. I think I could soak the cylinders, but the bigger issue is he broke the crank bolt head off at the pulley end. Let's see how this goes, I always like a good...
