Thank you for your reply. It sounds like you've kept using your MIL wheels. How are the bolts holding up (that hold the two pieces together?). Do they need replaced often, I am assuming that you always need to replace the wheel gasket and probably have a couple of spares.
Do you know of...
Kind of like not planning on being a parent, I didn't plan on having a hmmwv 'right now' but I do. And with it, comes ups and downs... anyway, being up in AK is probably the worst place to have a hmmwv to work on/rebuild/etc.
I saw that the tires have dates stamped on them (i.e. week and year...
I should have been more clear, I was referring to the connector. Appears to be two wires to one connector and it didn't come apart after I pulled on it. With my luck it might be the only twist and pull connector on the entire truck that I yank apart then have to buy an entire new wiring harness...
I apologize, I should have been more clear. I was referring to the connector. it doesn't appear to be a regular barrel type connector. It has two wires mated to one connector. I pulled on it but it did not come apart so I was afraid of breaking it.
Hi all,
I need to test my transmission light to see if its burned out/ruined/etc but it is stuck on pretty good. Is there a special way to remove it? Twist and pull, just pull, etc.

David

You're completely right, error on my part, I looked into it some more and after doing the meter test and following instructions to test the truck, the truck actually reads 0.00 with the kill switch on and off.
Just heard about parasitic draws on vehicles and one video mentioned at some rate its okay or whatnot.
As shown in the pic, I have a kill switch in between my batteries. I tested it today by removing the neg cable from the rear battery. With the kill switch open (no power to truck), it read...

in the skinny compartment next to the battery compartment, under the passenger front seat, I have this item which is...
Question for anyone...
I was running my m1097a2 without a brake switch (and therefore the tranny plug that is connected via the brake switch)... it would shift just fine.
I plug in the tranny plug (whatever you call it) and it goes into limp mode. Unplug the from the brake switch and it...
