    New M1009 CUCV owner!!

Hey guys, Just picked up a pretty decent 09 the other day. Just for those who wonder I i know I did and I read every thread I could) this truck has 33x12.50x15 Buckshot Mudders (good tread) and it fit on a Uhaul auto transport (newer model like others discussed). The tires rubber the outter...

Newbie checking out a deuce today??

Putting on the 12V alt bracket. Prob pull it for paint soon. Picking up my 94amp tommorow. Looking to install the a/c compressor. Obviously I used the pass side already for the 12V, too easy no to. The driv side is crazy for the compressor, just too much crap. Plus belt routing looks aweful...

    Beach Driving

I'm looking to head out on the sand in St. Augustine Florida soon too. I have the 11.00x20 T831's and I have been playing with the air pressure a little. I'd like to know if you ever made it out on the beach and how it did. Pics??

Newbie checking out a deuce today??

I have an M151 starter and removed the gear set to just a bare shaft. Looking to do a pre/post lube setup like M-35tom's but can't duplicate his 318 oilpump. Anybody have some suggestions for hydro pumps to hook to my 151 motor? Not sure what the specs would need to be or if I could use any of...

Newbie checking out a deuce today??

On the A/C evaporator box, it looks like sliding it over to the pass side will be no prob. I can still reach the controls and it will get everything nice and chill. Here are some pics of the exhaust. I have welded in my rear hanger that attaches to the turndown. I moved the muffler over the...

    Exhaust selector/Diverter???

Here is the finished product. Noise is really reduced. Moving the muffler over the rear axles helped regain a few inches of ground clearance. I am only down 2-3" now. I'm going to take a drive later alnd I'll report back.

Algae oil grown in continous photobioreactor.

Awesome. Definitely want to colaborate on this. I'd love to at least have the right strain and start a small system that I can just scale up.

    Pre / Post Lubrication System...Done.

Just trying to figure out how the oil lines connect to the pump. I know one is threaded so you can make up parts for that. The other I am lost on.

Algae oil grown in continous photobioreactor.

Glad to see you guys on this thread! I would still like to have a system sized so that I can grow enough continously to not worry about getting 100% of the oil out. If enough oil is strained out and your reintroduce the pressed algae back into the PBR to absorb more Co2 and regrow. Still need...

Newbie checking out a deuce today??

Thanks guys! Looks like installing the a/c compressor will be some work but straight forward. Biggest problem I am running into is where to mount the evaporator housing. Most of the ones I am looking at are 12-14' deep 16" wide and 5.5" tall. The firewall also bumps into the cab right in the...

Newbie checking out a deuce today??

Clay - It makes it so much better I can't even tell you. The lady and I can hear each other no prob. Just make sure your welding is better than mine... I'll move the muffler over the rear axles prob this weekend now that my straight pipe sections arrived. I need to seal up the cab with...

Newbie checking out a deuce today??

More goodies.. And here is a little collection of parts for projects... Waiting on the rest of the pipe, (2) 4' sections to route exhaust/muffler out to rear. My a/c compressor, hydro steering box, 12v alt brackets, and an old radio from the boat that has a little wired remote that I will run...

    Pre / Post Lubrication System...Done.

Great thread BW and your design is killer! Here is something I ran across that may help the less electrically inclined as myself. AutoEngineLube Pre Lube System Reduces Engine Wear Up To 60%

    A quiet deuce?

You're probably right as it relates to sound levels in the cab. I added the muffler to avoid severely irritating my neighbors since the turbo whine out of the stack is quite intense. Like in other thread the D turbo would prob solve that but I'm keeping the C for sure. I almost wonder if a...

    Electric Fan on Deuce

Any more progress on modifying the water pump pulley to create more room? I have the fan coming as well as picking up my 12V 100amp si alternator to run A/C, compressor, cooling fan, and prob install a buss in the cab to branch off for small accessories. I thought about moving the radiator an...

    Fuel Gauge Not Working

Thanks so much for this thread. I'm still pretty new to this since only having my truck for a number of months. My fuel guage does not have that ground cable going from the guage to the dash panel. Oddly the guage was working (I think) since it was reading full and the tank was all the way...
