I don't believe they said they paid $2500, I believe they said you could "pick one of these up" for a price range of $2500-5500.
You gotta admit, it wasn't the prettiest deuce so maybe they didn't pay a bunch?
OH yeah......Boyce received a MASSIVE plug.
I'm guessing they gave Ian a smokin'...
A good example of shill bidding, more than likely.
I used to be deep into the British Austin Mini's (the REAL Mini! What he sells most of) a couple years ago and he ALWAYS had them on Ebay-still does, check his other auctions.
He always had some of the most outlandish prices around.

Great job.
It's real cool to see the kids enjoying it.
I know my daughter is "on board" with a Deuce purchase but I'm in the same boat, wife-wise.
I get a heepin' helpin' of stink eye when my wife hears about it. aua
Seeing that episode of Xtreme 4x4 made my weekend.
It really hit home.
Even watched it a third time after my wife went to bed.
Can't wait to see the follow-up episodes!
Great job, Ian.
BTW......when Ian mentioned 100dollarman, some pics were shown of 100dollar, his rigs and one...
I can't get enough of this thread!
I'm a newbie here and this is, without a doubt, my dream bobber.
If I lived closer, I'd be begging for a ride.
OUTSTANDING workmanship!
Adding all those creature comforts is brilliant.
Keep the updates coming. [thumbzup]
