I said it once and I'll say it again these prices people are trying to fetch and insane and these generator sets are NOT worth anywhere close to those numbers.
Like someone else said there useless in the commercial world and Average Joe home owner will never buy one. They do not come equipped...
Seems like a deep gamble with the 802-803 more then the 002-003. You either hit a home run with the 802-803 or a total strike out. What happened to the guy on the form that was rebuilding 3 of them at the same time? All 3 where trash and he paid stupid money for parts to fix them from lister...
I have had several of both. The TQG when they run they run great and are silent. But when they have an issue forget it. Mine has a black box issue some times it works other days it doesn't want to. All my wires are chaffed on the metal... fuel aux system totally not functional fuel gauge doesn't...
Yes I have found these new MEP's to be electrical nightmares. I know some people will disagree. Unless your getting an amazing deal on it I would not buy it
Based on when No extra coats of paint signs of a rebuild I would say it's extremely low hour generator trust me I'm not naïve I know the gauge could just pop out and Put a new one in
I Just picked up a 10 hour MEP003. For $1000! Put some fuel in it changed Oil installed spin on filters and BAM it fired right up! Runs amazing! After such a horrible experiences with my MEP802 this was a huge relief!
I'm missing one part wonder if anyone has one fuel pump return line
Thanks...
