Would you sell the center pod from your old dash? My dash had the center pod modified to add a modern light switch and other junk. All I need is the center pod, dont need the whole old dash. It looks like its riveted on. Let me know. Thanks.
Just hated that I had to sell my FAV but I found another one and just started putting it back together. It is completely in pieces and down to the bare frame. It is listed in the FAV section now under rebuilding #91 FAV. Can't believe I started this thread back in 2016. Where did the time go.
The dash is going to be a little tricky. The previous owner removed the military light switch and engine protection assembly and installed modern switches. A little metal work and fabrication will be needed.

They were. I just took everything off for the photos. I have been guilty of dropping a washer or bolt down a intake port. Learned that lesson the hard way! Thanks.
This is the bracket that I cut off on each side. It was welded really well to the frame. Took a lot of work to cut and grind these off. Anyone have an ideas what they were for?

Last week I cleaned, sanded and painted the front backing plates and bolted them up, Then added the wheel cylinder and adjusters. I hope to get the new shoes and spring kit installed soon. I will try to press the new TIMKEN bearings in the drums this week and finish up the brakes.
