Having lots of fun with my new CD Manual, but there is a lot of material to look over. Can anyone explain to me how the cargo cover is supposed to rolled up and buckled on each side and what is done with each end? :confused:

I cant remember what its called but that part between the two back axles, under the springs where the large U-bolts go through, Mine has watter standing in the holes where those U bolts pass through and I know those U bolts are probably eat up with rust where you cant see them. Are they designed...

Can the power connection, the rubber female plug where the power plugs on to the top of the electric fuel pump be replaced without purchasing the whole unit? :freaked: Mine is dry rot and coming apart, which causes my fuel pump to shut off sometimes. [bitchin]
One last question for tonight. [^] Since I changed my oil and filters the other day, seems like it takes too long for the pressure to come up after starting the engine. Is that normal for the Deuce, I didnt notice it till I changed the oil and cant remember what it use to do. [bitchin]
I got me two extra fron hubs for my Deuce, so I can cut the splines out of one of the sets to free up the front axles. I saw where some of your guys were discussing it a while back. :hop: What I would like to know is how much should I get cut out? Just past the splines or do I need to open them...
My second gear is hard to get shifted in most of the time, but all the rest are ok. Is there a synchronizer I can replace to fix it? and how hard is it to go messing around inside the transmission?
