I could not register my truck because it was not old enough for historical plates. It is currently registered in Nevada. Maybe some other members here can chime in how they registered their truck.

The truck was a 19,500 GVWR truck, not sure of the weight of the engine and trans.

Not sure of the model.The engine in the pictures seem to be an older style that are not computer controlled. We had a customer that had one of these in a truck. The truck was falling apart, but the engine still ran strong up until the day they junked it. They never even opened the valve covers.

That happened to me once. Make sure the flux-capacitor is installed properly too. Do you have any pictures of the adaptor on the transmission?

I forgot to ask when did the truck overheat? In traffic? Highway speeds? Climbing a hill? Use your laser thermometer point it at certain parts of the engine block top, bottom and close to the temp sending unit. If you get temps close to what the gauge on the dash indicates that means your gauge...
