What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

After you adjust it tight just be sure to check for full throttle. I got mine tight and it was limiting the throttle some so had to readjust the u clamp that holds the cable sheath because I couldn't get it quite right with just the threads on the rod.

Gearhart Engineering 5 ton Lockout hubs

His main customers are monstertruck and mud truck guys but I'm sure there will be some MV guys buy some too eventually. There are a few guys that don't mind spending money. Just because you can get the trucks for a goo deal right now doesn't mean they will always be cheap. once they are all...

Gearhart Engineering 5 ton Lockout hubs

He hasn't put any on a truck but not much need to test them he makes parts that are being run on trucks with 5ton axles putting out 2600hp and 68" tall tires with 5" of cleat on them. his stuff works and he knows what he's doing and has been doing it for other people since the early 90's. He's...

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I was thinking of just a filter off the turbo or close to it for normal highway use and then hook the factory filter back up for offroad use.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I plan to use 2" .188 wall tube for the cage. looks like only mod I really need to make is I may have to relocate the air restriction gauge. and possibly trim the back 2 corners inside the cab to clear the tubes. I dn't plan to go overkill and put tubes everywhere just enough to make it safer in...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I plan to drive it and wheel it and do whatever I can with it and would prefer not be squished in it if for some reason it would end up belly up.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Thanks. Once I can afford the hubs it will get some. I've bought many of Russ's other products and everything is top notch. My main plans are to make a bed that snaps into the 5th wheel and latches to the frame. Gonna tweat the injection pump and build a DOM rollcage in the cab similar to the...

Singling out the rear of a 5 ton

If ride comfort is the concern leave both axles and just remove the leafs and add airbags and a track bar to both axles. it'll ride great and still look the same and not like a mangled after thought.

Singling out the rear of a 5 ton

If you would remove the rear springs and just keep the suspension links and use airbags you will need to add a track bar to the axle. the leafs hold the axles from moving left and right and without a bar the rear may walk out under the side. and that would be a catastrophic situation especially...
