I can't seem to find it with the search so I'll ask. I'm looking for an older post (couple years old possibly) tht some one mentioned having a blueprint from Rockwell for a 5.20 gearset for the 2.5 ton axle. Does anyone happen to know who it was?
Thanks
Adam
Actually that is not true. The origanol idea for these was for use by the companies that used the old ducks for doing tours. Same as the brake kit that he was mass producing for these companies a few years back.
Nice shot of Clingy. Lol we figured you'd be better off sleepin a little longer.:lol: You looked alittle whooped after the :driver: to my place at 3am. lol We had it covered anyway I think I can disassemble and reassemble a 5 ton axle with my eyes closed. Just gotta watch out for...
All I'll say is I've been sitting along the road broke down before far from home and I know what it's like. I don't mind helpin someone out hoping sometime that if I'm in need a total stranger may help me out too. Plus man it was Easter Sunday can't let someone sit stranded for long. 8-)8-) lol.
Hey this sucks I lost the guys # that had the bed for $200. And it says the listing is no longer available. If someone has his # or email that would be awesome.
Has anyone ever tried to make an air to air cooler for a deuce? I'm curious. I started lookin around the front and it would most likely have to go between the radiator and grill.
Well I played with the magic screw today. Holy elephant piles. My deuce is like a whole other animal. I really need an EGT guage now but I ran it for a test run pulling my 27' lowboy trailer loaded with a 10,000 lb truck. The truck pulled out and went like a champ. I could run 55 on the...
I had a buddy who bobbed one years ago and he made a bracket that held the rear of the leaf and had an airbag on it. The front of the leaf was mounted conventional but the rear rode on the airbag. That thing rode like a dream.
Maybe it's me but I like em tandem. If I wanted a 4 wheel drive MV I woulda bought an M37 or an M715. Can't beat the cool factor of a 6x6.:wink:
Since my trucks not quite ready yet I decided to load my buddies truck and go for a test run to see what I'm gonna expect from when I tow mine. It towed it really well no problems pulled out and went just fine. I still plan on turning up the fuel yet but I was happy with the results. I have...
The older gradalls and crane trucks had ratios in the 9's I also have access to a set of 7.54's and another set of 9.34's. but I'm gonna have to get $600 per diff for those.
