Russ now has these hubs available They are full billet chromoly. They are offered with a bronze bushing inside or a ball bearing for those that do a lot of extended driving. The bushing style are $2100 and the the bearing style are $2500. these hubs are compatible with all 800 series and all...
I was at Russ's shop about 2 weeks ago. He has the locking mechanism designed and machined but hasn't finished the dials or the rest of the body yet. Basicly If you want or need a set now you just need to send him some money and he'll finish them. He has alot of other paid jobs that he's working...
Here's the scoop guys. russ has the full design done for the hubs. but he has other projects that are paid for to get finished. If you want to speed up the process you need to call him and et him know there is a market and he needs to finish them. The shop # is 269 278 6945 Russ Gearhart is...
ok here's some more good info for ya on the axles in these trucks. The axles are the same as a 5ton axle except for a few details. The gear ratio is different (5.81:1) and they have a 2.25" 23 spline axleshaft in them and are fitted with an airlocker differential. The steering knuckles are the...
yeah these are nothing like the warns either. These have specific dove cut tooth and engagement system. The warn stuff is a bit outdated even the updated hub they built for the Bigfoot trucks back in the 80's is way outdated setup too.

he informed me some the other day. And they should be pretty low profile also. Hey guys what are your thoughts on an aluminum endcap for the lockout? Or would you rather have steel incase you would hit it on something?
Hey Vintage Iron glad to see another jump on board the more the merrier. Russ has been working on his when he gets time. He has most of the final design done. They are a bit different than the standard warn setup these have a total different design and should be rather low profile too. I'll...
Yes he's been doing some further design. he couldn't come up with a used one to save time on design so he started from scratch. I know all will be very impressed with the quality and design Russ cuts no corners when building something which is why it's taking a little bit to get them done.
I just put a set of lockouts on my deuce. Wow, what a big difference in road manners. The steering wheel no longer shimmy's in the turns and it seems to roll along a bit more effortlessly. I'm anxious to see if the MPG's increase. I'd recommend this upgrade to anyone that runs their deuce or...
