4 July 2016 Centralia, WA Summerfest MV display

Larry bought the Beast from CA a while back and has done some touch up and further restoration. It is a really nice 1970 M813. Too bad the M923's don't have a nice place to hang the tow bar, like the 813"s. As for the mix, we just get what people bring. But it was definitely a nice grouping...

What have you done to your JEEP today

DF you should be able to search some of the threads and see what some of the rest of us have for dates and numbers and come up with a reasonable hood number. My M38A1 is 12/53 manufacture, ser. no. 68014, and hood number 20997729. I have owned this jeep for 30 years and it is original, not...

Mission accomplished. Here are a few photos from the day. We ended up with about 35 people for lunch and 16 vehicles in the parade, ranging from 1941 GP to a 1987 Humvee. We also took 1st place in the parade for Historical entry.

Doggone kids anyway. Kilroy was there from the beaches of Normandy to the Latrines of Saddam Hussein's Palace in Iraq. And pretty much everywhere in between.

    Poor Man's Cargo Bows

That is imaginative work. Good job. You have just made a small laminated beam. While I am not a fan of OSB for much of anything, you aren't generally putting much weight on top, unless you get some serious snow load on it. It should work fine for most instances. I took a fir 1x4 cut to...

PNW- 8TH Annual Chehalis River Valley M/V Gathering

hard hat, may miss you this year as I am supporting the PBR guys next weekend with a Vietnam display. Are you up for some Desert Storm at the Auburn Parade this year? It is time for a 25th anniversary salute. Not sure how many tan vehicles we can scrounge up, but would really appreciate you...

4 July 2016 Centralia, WA Summerfest MV display

We do have one or two guys that do Navy, but unfortunately they won't be there that day. There was an article this week about our counties last Pearl Harbor survivor and he was Navy, he was with the PBY squadron on Ford Island. They got their planes off between waves and didn't lose an...

I have a few small flags that we could probably zip tie one to your mirror frame. My wife and I will take care of the hamburgers and hotdogs, we will have some pop and water as well. Maybe veggie tray or fruit tray. Whatever you do, I don't think anyone will starve. Also I hadn't mentioned...

    1953 M38A1 assistance

You might want to take the bottom of the aircleaner off and clean it. Even though there is oil in it, you should see a fill to line, there could be condensation and the water can cause the bottom to rust and pinhole leak. It is a cheap and easy check and fix if you catch it first. That looks...

    1953 M38A1 assistance

Saberr what's wrong with the fenders? I can only see rt. front and it looks like one of the early reinforced fenders. If that is a 53 doesn't seem to be an issue. Mine is a 53, dead stock, not restored and it has one reinforced and one non reinforced. I think it probably got airdropped hard...
