Please don't take this the wrong way but why bother changing it to 4X4??
I'm sure there's plenty of Jeeps that are already 4X4 that you can buy without having to re-engineer this one.
Just my opionion.
Re: RE: Re: How much is your Deuce
My agent says they broker thru JC Taylor.
I would still think about personal coverage to protect what you've worked for all your life.
Perhapsing they could get GL to bring some Dueces to sell from Tobyhanna or other nearby bases.
Perhaps they could also have some of those WWII Jeeps taken from those secret warehouses or M151's or even some HUMVEES !!!
I would strongly consider a personal liability policy of at least, and I mean at least of 1 million dollars. (Only $100. or so a year). Those dueces can do some serious damage in an accident and all it takes is a good lawyer ---
Taking this idea from the G503 (WWII Jeep) site.

I'm...

He's/she's buying it from YOU.
You have to have it in your name.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm sure in this situation his yard/sheds looks much better and ready to recieve more "good stuff"!!
I'm hearing that lately it's like the old scrap drives of WWII at the scrap yards. There's long lines of people waiting to get weighed.
They're also saying that some of the stuff is too good to...
Reminds me that I have a VHS tape from Vintage Video that demonstrates the proper use of all size front winches on the military trucks. Shows many points discussed here.
It would probably be an idea for a club to pick up a DVD/Tape and ad it to thier video library.
Youse guys brought up an interesting idea for MV shows. Put on a winch operation class/demonstration!!
There's plenty of trucks around w/winches and to show how one operates a winch safely would sure draw a crowd I bet. All someone would need is a winch equipped truck and some kind of dead...
