    Augusta NJ show pics

I'm sure I'll be told otherwise but I'd be afraid to ride in the 6X6 M151. With those wheels pulling under every which way when turning --- not for me -- no thank you.

Only my opionion and I know some of you Brits will blast me about it but I can't see the duece being practicle for you giving the fact that your post indicates your unfamiliarity of the truck. Think of where and how you have to operate the truck and you'll understand what I mean ---

    New GL deuce buyers

Re: RE: Hummmm Yeah, but was'nt that more of an exception than a rule. It sounds like someone knew the truck was heading for disposal, was tasked to put in a new engine, or just an overlook or whatever. I would think no matter what, make sure the brakes work!!

    Cable Lube ?

On the used motor oil -- For show purposes probably used motor oil would be okay but would'nt it kind of damage the cable over time? I mean there's going to be corrosives, (thats why you change it is'nt it) and grit and other stuff that would'nt be good for cable. Just my opionion.

WANTED: Restored 3/4 ton Dodge Command Car

It's still confusing then because I've heard the winch/12 volt CC's were '58's. However then I've heard the '58 designation was dropped. Anyone know for sure??

Which military vehicle for a newbie????

What about starting out with something like one of those 10 ton tank retriever trucks w/ attached trailer!! You know, one of those with the massive double winches on the back with the tri-axle, ramps over the rear wheels trailer!! I once had a NG soldier tell me he could make one of those dance...
