I think it would be very prudent to look at what kind of protection your getting for the dollar amount paid.
I mean just think of what kind of damage you can do to someone else bodily and thier vehicle and it would'nt take very long to exceed the limits on the...
Probably sold/given after the hostilities ended. We used to have a Laotian nieghbor that told me that his uncle (or whatever) was given a Jeep for his role in a operation.
A local highway supervisor here said they were required to keep an item for 18 months than they could sell it.
He bought a special use truck for a little of nothing and the township made a good dollar on it at the sale.
Someone says that Kublos Surplus in upstate Pa. has trucks for sale but they're site comes up dead here on the net. Anyone know the number or where they're site is?

Since your there in the Netherlands, (and we're not), I know we'd appreciate enjoying some overview pictures of VanDams as alot of us here in the states don't get to see yards full of military surplus like VanDams has.
I've been to thier site many times hoping that they'd update thier page with new pictures, however we want to see the rows and rows of US and Foreign military vehicles they have there!!
Yes, for us here on the eastern side of the US it would be very difficult to take a piece of armor to the local K-Mart, (department store) for example. Than like someone else says, the cost of moving a piece is very expensive as well as required road permits.
