After talking to poof and drgreg this morning I think we have a tentative date for the weekend of April 29th to May 1st. This is still open to change as it has several times already this morning. As always this is a good time for friends to get together and enjoy the weekend and the hobby...
It's hard to believe it's been almost a year. I'm sure we will have details to post soon enough on the plan for this Spring. I know pooh has a date in mind, but it's still to be determined. What seems to work for everyone out there? Let's get some ideas rolling and get the usual group...
I did end up using two sheets of 1/2" concrete backer board one behind and one on the side. Worked great and I think it even helped to radiate some of the heat back.
Again I think the best way to acheive this is to use a tag axle type set up. You choose the axle to lift depending on the situation and you do it all from in the cab. Use lighted switches so when the axle is up the light is on. Real tight turns lift the back axle and watch for swing, not so...
If you are looking for more of a smooth ride that load capacity why not consider a dual 4 link set up that uses air bags? If you have already converted the truck to a crew cab you must have some metal working skill so figuring out the mechanics of a 4 link is all you need, then get to work and...
Yes there is a water drain on the bottom of the filter housing, and I was stopping every 10 to 15 miles to drain it, still no luck.
Glad you like the sig, you did inspirie it afterall.
I recently got home from what was the longest drive of my life. My family and I drive to my in-laws place every year, about 925 miles away. However, this time 160 miles from home my truck, Ford with the 7.3, started to act like it was geling up. I pulled the fuel filer and added Power Service...
Does anyone have $49K I can borrow? I seem to have gotten a little caught in the moment and just went for it.
Sorry I was remembering another thread, long gone now, and just had to post that.
Nice truck though for whomever won it. And that is going to be one **** of a credit card balance.
I would have use Hagerty, however, the required that my deuce be garage kept. In a perfect world I would love my vehicles to be kept inside, but not possible where I live. I wound up with Progressive and it's $16 a month so it seemed reasonable.
I would like to learn more about the M920 before I seriously toss my hat in the ring to buy one. Is there anyone in the SE WI area that has one? Or within 100 miles or so of the Milwaukee area? I'd just like to be able to crawl around one and get a ride in one just to help me decide if it's...
I did the front clip of mine in the Rusto this fall. I will use the CARC sub though in the spring. Nothing wrong with the Rusto IMHO, just prefer the CARC color.
