Nice job. With all of those dents, are you sure that my soldiers did not drive that unit. Uh Nope, can't be so. It would have been sold as scrap if my kids had touched it! nice truck.
Well, this one was just a stupid mistake on my part. I was worried about overhead clearance from my flag poles, so I did not go downtown because we have overhead electrified wires for our trolley busses and I could not find the height of the wires. No problem, we just drove around on the North...
Try to find a local owner with an A3 , and also an A2. Talk to both of them and form your own conclusions. Don't bother with your local Army unit, because unless you find the smart person, all that you will get will be beefs about the deficiencies of one particular unit. The guys who actually...
VE7HHK. I keep nothing in the truck that I don't wish to loose. I have a 30A 12V tap for the radio gear, and all antennas are mag mounts. I have retired from the Red Cross thing, so I only play when I am really needed!
My wife already knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that I'm crazy. I think that she has the bug too, now. She made a facebook profile for the "Green Army Truck!" Her arm is still sore from waving at the civvies! I will chuck in a shot of my daughter at the wheel of the M-135. She won't drive it...
Me thinks that you are now hooked. Abandon your wallets, all ye who enter here! Good luck. and please post some bragging photos of your new mistress!
I get this EVERY time the truck moves. Whether it's civvies saying "Cool Truck", or veterans who have a story to tell....The big green thing is an ambasador. I try not to abuse it, and just have fun with it. We do good with our chairity involvement, and do our best to let everyone else have fun...
All at I will say, is that you must remember that your weapon was built by the lowest bidder! As for arguing semantics about small arms virtues, there are many other sites that do that. Here we just talk about the vehicles that got us and the Log Support the where we had to go. Where is that...
Buy a bed and a rattle can..... they can be a really fun truck. Just be warned that they can be "Moody!" . That one looks like a good start, and FD's usually keep their stuf OK. I would guess that they had a Fire Truck bed on it, and they kept it for their new rig. I would not be afraid to jump...
To the rescue crew.... You guys are freaking incredible! Even us lurkers who are way to far away to help, are watching this with baited breath. Our little green community is absolutely astounding. I feel like I'm still wearing green, but, the only brass that I now have to answer sits beside me...
This may post 2x only because I am not patient. Here is the M-135.
1) Flag Truck
2) Colors flying
3) Legionaires having fun
4) Waiting for the parade...
We had planned on having the 24V system ready for the Olympic torch Run. The plan was to be about 4 blocks ahead of the RCMP and the great flame. We were going to hijack the thread and get the crowd going. Unfortunately, the parts were ready 2 days late. So here are some pics of the festivities...
That is the wrong Camo pattern to hide in a floral shop. I'm glad that you, the civvies and the truck are OK. The flowers were already in the non-living mode.
As has been said before. Get a truck with a dead engine..... Put your good bits on it. Driving a truck with a compromised frame should be left to civvies with a big insurance policy, and a desire to appear in the Darwin Awards.
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Just be original. Try not to repeat the same ones. this is called learnig and is very good. If you are really creative with incidents, they are fun to recount over a cool pop? Nah, beer!
