is it safe to pull a M348A2 with a deuce?

Find this! It will answer some questions. I will try to search for a link. TM-9-2330-203-14-P Max rated highway speed was 30 MPH. Put some fuel in a buddy's M-818, and save yourself a world of problems. Just because you can do things under "War Time" conditions, does not mean that this is a...

is it safe to pull a M348A2 with a deuce?

Unless you knew for sure, this would not be posted. MT, maybe, a lot of things are possible, but not many are advisable. When you get it home, what are you planing on towng it with? A dolly could work for the trip, but try to find a volunteer with at least an M-818.

PNW-2010-Second Annual Chehalis River Valley MV Convoy/Camp-Out

Well here is a tentative reservation for 2 more. Leo (who owns the M-135) is trying to break that weekend free. It is too long of a trip to beat up a 54 year old truck, so we will probably arrive in a Civvy Suburban (the tender to the big "M") What sort of Comms are you using? FRS? What...

    Speed governor removal?

If you have to move quickly, you might want to buy a heavy transporter. Or engage in a rail move. The speed that these things were made for is more along the lines of "We are out of Food and Ammo, oh, and the road is out" They will go almost anywhere (if required), but I can guarantee that it...

    Radioactive Deuce?

Now take it to the Capital, and send us the results. Oops, that measuring device only reads in radiation, not stupidity. If it could read that, the needle would be pegged in our nation's seat of interference. Ottawa! The place where we send the dumbest politicians, just to keep them out of our hair!

    M220 the same as M211?

You will want to get TM 9-8024 Click on the resources tab, and go browsing. It takes a while to download, bt it is an essential for any owner of these toys!

    Deuce License Plate Light??

Napa plate light and H3 halogen back up lights installed. Seems to meet and exceed current local MOT standards. Now they have fewer reasons to bother me. Also, since I no longer have the luxury of an Army provided Ground Guide.... I find fewer occasons when the paint needs to be re-applied!

    Air brake question 2

I do not want to sound snarky, BUT!!! Unless you have been trained and are qualified (ie: liscenced) to operate air brake equipped vehicles, please do not do so. Pay for a course. After that, get a retired MV instructor to teach you about the toy that you have. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! All...

Rear tires, are they duallies? if so it is in the M-211 family. The TM is here under the reource section. When I get home, I will post the ref# . A pic or 14 would help. Grab a buddy with a camera phone and we might be able to assist more. Good luck and if it is what I think it is, you got a...

    Sometimes It Helps To Think

Yup. Test the simple stuff first. Do not over complicate things. If it still does not work, well then you can go digging! Just remember K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid) That Credo does work!
